Reliable decisions start with reliable data. Logivity emissions calculations have been independently assessed by Smart Freight Centre, providing external validation of the standards and methodology behind the emissions insights available through our platform.
Measuring transport emissions is one thing. Measuring them in a consistent and credible way - so that the results can be used to compare, understand and improve transport operations - is another.

This is why Logivity bases logistics emissions calculations on recognised standards and methodologies. The system used for our calculations is assessed through the Smart Freight Centre Certification programme.
The assessment provides independent validation that the calculation methodology applied through Logivity is aligned with established international approaches for logistics emissions accounting.
From measurement to action
For transport buyers, emissions data becomes valuable when it can be connected to the actual transport operation.
Through Logivity, emissions insights can be used alongside operational and cost data to understand transport performance, identify improvement opportunities and follow development over time.
The objective is not reporting for reporting's sake. It is turning reliable data into better decisions - and ultimately enabling organisations to move from measuring to optimising and transforming their transport operations.
A common language for logistics emissions
Common methodologies also matter beyond the individual organisation. Transport takes place across companies, carriers, modes, and markets. Comparable approaches to emissions accounting create a stronger foundation for sharing data and collaborating across that ecosystem.
Our membership in the Smart Freight Centre community complements this work, connecting Logivity with organisations working collectively towards more efficient and zero-emission global freight and logistics.
Certification statement
The system used for calculations has been assessed by Smart Freight Centre and is generally suited to deliver results aligned with ISO 14083 and the GLEC Framework.
